The Equity Alliance Group, Inc. takes special care in taking students on an educational field trip to HBCU Colleges & Universities. This field trip is entitled our Team W.E.B. Dubois tour. We have dedicated our career to ensuring that students from our community receive educational opportunities and certainly a field trips such are great on-site learning opportunities. We are both leaders in the NAACP. We are also well known to a number of civic organizations, corporations as well as colleges and universities. We are supported by numerous organizations such as the State NAACP, Stockton NAACP, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority – Mu Zeta Omega Chapter (Stockton), Links Incorporated – Stockton Chapter, African American Chamber of Commerce (Stockton), Omega Psi Phi (Stockton), Alpha Phi Alpha (Stockton) and many more. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have an excellent academic track record. While only about 17 percent of black undergraduate students attend an HBCU, more than 28 percent of African Americans have received bachelor degrees from an HBCUs. These colleges and universities are also leading institutions in awarding degrees to African American students in the life sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and engineering programs.
