As a company focused on the professional development of leaders of persons of color, it is incumbent upon us to provide tools, skills, and opportunities for participants to succeed in their ultimate goals. Equity Alliance Group (EAG) Leadership Program was created to educate and entrench participants executive members in the naacp into issues while creating opportunities that challenge and engage them to enhance their influence and impact their community. The first cohort has already proved the business model and investment.
EAG brought a variety of methods to achieve these goals including hands on projects and opportunities to attend national and state conferences and events. Each of those opportunities brought additional education while also creating stronger bonds with people in their own community. It showcased the diversity of talent throughout the county identifying specific areas of expertise and experience for the cohort participants. An unintended benefit was to see how it inspired and motivated these already busy professionals to prioritize their efforts as they developed their individual plans.
